  SORRY AT THIS TIME I AM NO LONGER    ACCEPTING CHILDREN I AM CLOSING
        DOWN FOR GOOD HERE IN NJ.
  MY HUSBAND IS IN THE AIR FORCE  & HAS RECEIVED ORDERS TO A NEW BASE.

Welcome to A Bright Beginning Family Child Care's website! I hope this site provides you with information you need to help you choose the best care for your child. Looking forward to hearing from you.
I am NJ state registered through BCCAP.
Both my husband and I have had and passed background checks.
I am CPR/First Aid certified.

I believe a child’s early experiences enrich and stimulate future growth. Children deserve to be treated and respected as individuals in an environment that welcomes reason, exploration, question, and imagination. I respect each child’s need for love, security, acceptance, warmth, and stimulation. My goal is to provide your child with a clean, safe, comfortable environment where they can play and learn with guidance and loving care while you are at work or attending school. While in my care, your child will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities, which promote all aspects of development. Family child care provides for children the comfort and experience of belonging to an extended family. I provide a home like setting; therefore, I do not follow a strict routine. My approach to child care is child centered and child directed. Children are offered choices whenever possible. Your child will bring home a newsletter each month, which will give a brief overview of what we will be doing that month. If you are not seeing anything in the way of papers does not mean that we have not been busy all day.

What I have to offer:
Attending A Bright beginning Family Child Care should be an enjoyable experience for the child as well as the parents. While here, your child will be exposed to many kinds of learning experiences including but not limited to:
* Arts and Crafts
* Music
* Circle Time
* Story Time
* Large and Small muscle play
* Self initiated play
* Numbers and counting
* Letter recognition
* Computer Time (3 1/2 years and older)
* Shapes and colors
* I use lesson plans (2-5 year olds) with different themes each week.
I plan age appropriate activities are scheduled with flexibility allowed to respond to the needs of the individual child and day. I will offer times for outside play, crafts, stories, instruction, and naps appropriate to the children's interests, and abilities. I will provide your child with tender loving care, patience, understanding and guidance in a happy family setting.

Parents can be confident their children are being well cared for in a cheerful environment. Parent involvement is encouraged and maintained through an Open Door Policy. Parents may visit us at any time with the exception of Nap/Rest time as it disturbs the other children.

*Meals and snacks are included unless under 1 year of age or needs special foods

* Napping is done on individual nap mats. Sheets and blankets are not shared and are washed weekly (unless needed more often); mats are wiped off and cleaned after each use.

* Every attempt is made to keep toys and play area sanitized. I use a sanitizing spray at the end of the day on the toys and let them air dry. Any toy that gets put in the mouth is put in a bucket when the child is done playing with it and cleaned at nap time or the end of the day.

*Daily reports filled out to let parents know what happened through out the day with their child. Diapering/Potty times, feedings, naps etc.

*I send out monthly newsletters

*Scheduled diaper changing times and I will work with you on potty training

*Big fenced in yard with lots of outdoor toys

*One story house with an open floor plan children are able to use most of the house. I believe this helps keep it more inviting for children. My entire house is child proof.
